Soccer

    On Sunday I had my first soccer game of the season. We only had ten girls and this year, we were playing nine on nine! So only one person get's a break at a time and the over all team get's a break during half time. It was about 15 minutes from half time and there was a goal kick and it was really bad. I stopped the goal kick and kicked it and the girl from the other team kicked it really hard, into the left side of my face. Wham! My nose started to bleed right away, I looked at the other team one of the girls was laughing on the other team.

    I ran to words my mom and dad Charlottes mom one of the girls on my soccer team was a doctor so she helped me with my bloody nose the my cheek, my eyelid and, the side of my nose hurt  really bad so my moms friend ran to get an icepack. I couldn't see the soccer game with all the stuff in my face. I just hoped that my bloody nose stopped before the game ended, I wanted to get back into the game.

   Luckily my bloody nose did stop I told the coach I was ready to go back in. We finished the game and won 4 to 1 and everyone was happy.

Wonder #3

    You shouldn't judge anybody by there looks how they dress (clothes) or how they look. If you have been bullied (someone being mean to you) or judged don’t treat another person like they treated you. You should treat them how you would like to be treated (be nice). Also you shouldn’t judge people by their appearances (what they are wearing) or what they look like (what someone looks like), because that can make someone feel bad (sad) about how they look or what they wear. So if you treat people how you want to be treated (be nice) you will be treated equally and fairly. A boy with a disordered face Person with disability) goes through tough times and friendships when he makes the choice to go to middle school, for the first time. He has to face times of bullied judgment and people (mean face) who were asked to be his friends. I think that Wonder by R.J Palacio is about kindness also understandment about people who go through something you can't imangine or being nicer to people who have gone through tough times.
    Early in the story August has to pick the choice of going or (question mark) not going to school for the very first time (nervous emoji). Auggie has never gone to school before because if his face. His mom and dad think that it's to much for him and people will bullie and stare at him. Auggie makes the discision of going to school, he meets the principle and like his many unpleasant experiences thinks he will stare and reject him for how he looks.  "Hi August, he said totally normally. It's a pleasure to meet you". This is an example of kindness because Mr.Tushman acts like their is nothing wrong with him which means that he doesn't judge him, and he's not saying huuuuu! Or shocked or screaming at him he is showing the act of kindness by acting normally to August which must feel pretty awesome.
   Later in the story August goes to camp and faces bullies that have August and his friend Jack have never met before. They make fun of him but suddenly these boys who used to make fun of August came  out of the woods and stood up for them, "Leave them alone dude", said Amos" This is a act of Kindness because Amos who thought August was a "freak" stood up for him when he needed help. I also think that this surprised August because no one in his school liked him except Jack and now a person who he didn't know was standing up for him from bullies. I think that Amos showed kindness by kind of guarding August and making sure that no one made fun of him in that situation.
   At the end of the story August is awarded an award. And when he is everybody in the whole school cheers and that makes August happy. This is showing a lot of people showingkindness because they are cheering and happy that August won the award,  they re also showing respect because they are happy for him. If they weren't happy for him they would have clapped or cheered. Also I think at the beginning of the year nobody in the school appericiated him and who he was, just because of his face. Now at the cerimonie everyone was cheering and clapping for him,  because partly they understood him.

Cupcakes

  We were at my Aunts baby shower and I was assorting cupcakes, for her baby shower. They looked so good I wanted to eat one so so badly. The flavors were: Blueberry, Coconut, Chocolate, and my favorite Red Velvet with Cream cheese frosting! When my cousin Mina got here the first thing I asked her was, "Have you looked at the cupcakes they ok amazing!" "Yeah I know they do did your mom make those" "No." I said. I though if my mom baked them I would probably have eaten at least half of each kind with my siblings. Which is actually a true fact. Oh man and you should've seen them during the deserts they were like WHOOSH!! Gone. I mean i only got one! Wanted like at the least three! But I did get my favorite cupcake and Baklava! For those who have never eaten it it is layers of crisp awesomeness with pistachios and every layer and the top is coated with syrup (not the kind you put on your pancakes) it is the best desert you will have in your life! I'm not joking.

    Now, I think that when you say something kiond it makes you and someone else feel good. It also can change somebodys day around. Also when you have done something nice to another then it makes you feel good about yourself for making someone feel better.  The power of kindness and being nice can cause the pursuit of happiness, and it will  make people feel happier in their and your life.

5/6 Dance

  Mahlah, Alex, Ali Ellie and I were walking and chattering as we walked into Covington. Alex sat down to change her shoes, "Shhh! Listen!" I said. We all heard "da da dadada dadadadadad da da dadada dadada" Then we all rushed to cafeteria. When we got there there were pretzels, beads, glow and the dark bracelets, and some kind of brittle or bark in separate bowls. We cracked the bracelets, put beads on our necks and went to the dance floor.

 There was a d.j talking into a microphone but he seemed like he was yelling at the top of his lungs. He said "Al ' right, who wants to play a game? " screamed the speakers. The kids screamed. We got in two lines and when ever he said coke somebody would run to a person high five them and run back. Same thing but you rotate partners with pepsi. There was conference call to you would go to the middle. Then when the game was over they were playing the song UpTown Funky whup, my other friend Alex came up to e and did the Harlem shake very fiercely to me. At the end they also played Your Lips are moving and Shake it Off.

  The dance ended at 8:00, Ali's mom and dad were here to pick the five of us up. Ali me and Alex were in one car and Mahlah and Ellie were in another. It was really cold out but we were so hot from dancing that it felt really good against our faces. When we got to Ai's house we played truth or dare while eating Ice cream. Mine was vanilla with mini m&m's, caramel/chocolate syrup, and gummy bears.

Grammer

   3.b Frying his body all day,/ Jacob Jhonson/ got a horrible sunburn by afternoon/ because the cheap suntan lotion from his brother/ became a thin liquid and dripped into the sand.

   4.b All kinds of vegetables/ from celery to fresh tomatoes/ were laughing or dancing or playing in the salad bowl/ and the salad dressing/ that had been as quiet/ and unnoticed/ as the bowl itself suddenly giggled with glee.

Skiing

  My sister was sick so my mom stayed home with her, as my brother dad and I went to Pine Knob skiing resort. We sat in the car for 18 minutes as we arrived. We went down in the lockers area to, get into our ski boots and put our layers on. As we headed out the door I was sweating in my layers so when we got outside the cold wind felt good against my cheeks.

  As we got our ski's on we headed to the rope to practice when my brother went first he fell crossing his ski's I stuck my poles down and went to the top where a bunch of snowboarders were. It was kind of annoying because they were in my way, just sitting.I slalomed down the hill the cold blast of air felt familiar to me. After we went on the chair lift, and when we got to the top I forgot to slide off so realizing I jumped. I two seconds of a sudden rush/nervousness, but it felt good. I followed my dad and his ski tracks doing slaloms, and my brother followed behind. As I was half way through the hill I stopped to look back. My brother was still all the way at the top. When we got to the bottom I asked, "Why were you so behind Drew?" "Oh I kept falling" he said as I chuckled.

  We did a couple more slaloms on the hill then we went in for food. It smelled greasy as we walked in, but a good greasy. We bought an iced tea half and half and fries and nachos. It was filling but next time i'd rather bring food. Then we skied a bit more and went home.

Popcorn

 For Christmas I got A loop de loom and made two scarfes. I got ivvia pants sweatshirt and two headbands. I also got clothes, candy, movies, and a popcorn machine with seasoning and popcorn (Blah). I hate hate hate popcorn, it makes me sick, like smelling my dogs poop in the summer. Every time we have popcorn my mom asks do you want to try a little bit? No I absolutely positively hate hate popcorn. And heres a little poem i made up my self.




Popcorn makes sick
It makes me have a fit
I hate it so much like a dog having a tick

Popcorn popcorn all buttery and popped
Blah blah all yucky it makes me pout
Popcorn popcorn it makes me scream
Just to see it in a machine

Even seeing it mixed about
Makes me want to shout
All salt no sweet 
Blah really quite the treat

My Dog

  It was break and my brother and sister were getting check-ups at the doctors. After the long process of being bored, we went to see the movie Annie. During the movie my mom cried at probably all the parts I cried at three, But my brother during the movie said in a whisper, "Theres to much singing!" But it was a really good movie! So before all this, in the morning my dog ate Ava's birthday cake. Can you guess what flavor Ava likes? If you guess two layered triple chocolate cake then yes your correct.

  So when we were coming back chatting in the car about the movie.  I opened the gate, and I saw Ceci our dog with our elf on the shelf Bob in her mouth. Just to recap She was in the crate before we left, then badda boom badda zing! Out. When we went in the house, the family room was trashed. Orange peel on the floor tissues toilet paper! But worst of all two 16 once chocolate chip bags empty on the floor. My mom got so mad. And guess who's fault it was. Mine. I was the last one to lock her and i forgot the second lock. And that is the lesson of never leaving my dog unlocked in the crate or she will destroy and eat.

New Years Eve

  For New Years Eve, me and my family went to J.Alexanders I ordered there mac ' n ' cheese. It was rich creamy and had bread crumbs on top, it was also baked in the oven! Is your mouth watering yet?
Then for dessert the kids ordered a to-go Chocolaty chocolate cake with ice cream!!!! The adults ordered carrot cake. We had to order it to-go because if anyone took one more bite there bellies would explode, or in simpler words everyone was full.

  When we got home we played a competitive game of headbands. I was a book, spider and chocolate I think. Then we sat on the couch and watched the second Harry Potter book, The Chamber of Secrets. It was good even though i've seen it three times. After that I had a nice big slab of chocolaty choclate cake and drizzled chocolate with ice cream!!!! It was really filling and super duper good. Then we all sat together on the couch and watched the ball drop, me and my mom had to wake up my dad. But everyone else was asleep. Tired and excited I headed up for my awesome super blanket bed! I was really excited to go to sleep!!!!!

Christmas tradition

   Every year for Christmas Eve, my family and some friends and I go to the Detroit Zoo. This year my cousins from Canada were coming with us. I was really excited, I haven't seen them in two years! On the 23rd my mom makes these delicious, New York chocolate chip cookies! They are to die for. the cokkie has three different types of choclate. Bitter sewwet. Semi~sweet. and regular choclate chips. the bitter sewwt is shredded and the semi sweet is chopeed up in to chunks. My mom also made this peanut butter coookie with peanut butter frosting in the middle (I'm not a big fan of peanut butter).

  First when we got there, there was nobody. It was awesome it was like we had the Zoo to ourselfs! First we went inside and I saw a big black bird roosting like a vulture on a trre limb. As we were walking through the Birds exhibit I said cuatsoiusly "Watch out for bird ppoop guys!" And i was serious. My old baby~Sitter told us when she was on a rolller coaster ride a guy in front of he had a pigdeon poop on his head, nasty. Anyway, yhen at the very top i saw Scarlet Ibis's about ten above on the tin celing. Tnen we walked to the butterflies exhibit, we saw moth's butterflies and crysilis's. We walked over to this glass thingy where threr were cyrisli's old and new, and some moth's out of threr crysialis's. Everybody had there eye's set on one though, one was wiggiling back and forth back and forth. Everyvbody stood for five minutes straight staring       then we wallked away dissapointed.

  We headed twords the reptile room and we all these green red and brown scaly snakes. I saw this big glass domed area where they kept a 16 feet long boa constructor. The lady says "She eats once every three months" I stood there starting. One every month! I thought geese la weese! This snake was like wider than my hand from the yip of my fingers to the start of my wrist! I went outside and all the other kids followed for one reson only. Cookies. Savory and sweet mouth watering chocolaty peanutbuttery. Cookies. I went back inside after the parents because,  Cookies. They were listening to a guide with awe. I saw a little lizard that was so coute and funny because ti looked like a pinecone! I wish I had a pet like that. I started pleading my mom "C'mon were all drooling for the cookies!!!"

 After our bellies were full of cookies and other snacks, We got up and saw the Gorillas and Chimps. When we got inside I saw a mom chimp with her baby hanging from her belly, and another little chimp following her. They were all hanging on side of the fence close to the celing. It was feeding time. Then there was this trouble maker he kept swinging on the ropes full of energy jumping screaming baralling into a barrel! Then an older one knocked some sense into him. When I went to the gorillas side there were three males. The eldest had amazing posture and sat there for five minutes straight. Then the other two were having a fight chasing each other around.

 When we went home we turned on the fire and got warmed up.
