Grammer

 I saw / a gray-green slimy thing / like a snail without it's shell, / only bigger, / the size of a rat.

In the Morning

I was in my dream. "Oh why hello Madame" said a dog that looked like Mr.Pebody to a woman in a classic 1500's poofy dress with a white curly wig on top. "Ooh" said the woman she bonked the dog's nose. Then the dog pulled me by the arm and started running off the roof, Then we started going gilding through the air. The dog looked determined to get to the water. "Riiipp!" A noise behind us as I turned my head I saw, The witch with pale pale green warty skin a long warty nose, and gray knotted tufts of hair. She grabbed her broom stick catching up her hand just inches from me then, "Sophie wake up!" said my five year old sister Ava. "You have to get ready!" I thought in my head it was just a big fat dream. I raised my head from pillow and plopped it down muttering"Uhhhh, Why can't it be Friday."

I finally got up and put my clothes on, brushed my teeth (not my hair) Grabbed my book and headed down stairs. I was looking for Bob, our elf on the shelf. My sister started to say"He's.." "Sh don't tell me!" I went around into the kitchen and saw Bob. He was sitting on one of the oven mitts, over a tray of brownies. His puppet hand reached toward them there was a teeny tiny chunk missing, and a note that said, Make these for santa to! In messy handwriting (no offense Bob). I grabbed the Rice Krispes  from the pantry, poured the milk and started eating.

My mom came down looking tired. "Did you see where Bob was!" my brother said. "No, where?" "Oh sorry dad moved him to get him out of the way." I said said. Then my mom said "I can't wait for break Sophie!" "I can't contain my self!" "Me too." I said unenthusiastic and tired.

Small Moment

I went into the other locker bay saying to Alex, "Hey can you walk with me to choice hour?" I said. "Uuuu yeah." I shut my locker door and put my backpack on my back and my coat in my arms. "Ready Alex?" "No" "I need to get this and that and my planner!" "You don't need your planner all the homework we have is writing and reading" "Oh!(smile)" "Ok" "Can I shut your locker?" I said anxious "Wait!" Alex's hand kept sliding in and out trying to succeed to get her hat. "WATCH OUT!" I screamed and slammed her locker.

"Wait!" she said as we were walking to choice hour. "What?" I said running after her. I started laughing because when she runs I watch her feet and their zig zagging all over the place! "Hahahaaaa" I started laughing she went down the hallway "Wait Alex where are you going?" She grabbed her violin and ran the other again I started to laugh hysterically. And off to choice hour we went.

Christmas

I am super excited for Christmas break and Christmas! Only 16 days left! Which is only 384 hours is I'm not mistaken! I am super curious for what I am going to get. So I am trying to eavesdrop, and figure out any code I can for any presents that belong to me! Another thing I get excited about for Christmas is… can you guess? COOKIES!!!!! I  absolutely positively love Christmas cookies! I love Sugar cookies all chocolate cookies snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, brownie, cinnamon, gingerbread! And did I mention Sugar Cookies? Yes? Ok.

On Christmas Eve we decorate sugar cookie with smooth thin sugar called frosting using my favorite kind of sugar. Dun Dun Dun…. (drum roll please) …… CONFECTIONERS SUGAR!!! Then after the sugar, we sprinkle even more it's a wonderful kind of sugar called sprinkles! Then we set them on a glorious plate with a very nice drink to go with it of course called milk. And that's your very fine concealed of sugar meal to Santa Claus! Every tradition that is very common with most children is, waking up at 4 a.m in the morning shaking their parents awake, dragging them downstairs, and finally ripping open Christmas wrapping. You know sometimes I wonder, at how my 5 year old sister gets up that early you know? And sometimes she sleeps in. I guess it's a natural habit, that kids grow out of.

One of the best things about Christmas is that I get to see my whole family. That's the best part. Not the gifts the cookies, the irresistible sensation of stuffing you mouth with sugar cookies on Christmas morning (not that I do it). It's the family.

Christmas Creeps

Now this is a Christmas Creep that happened recently at the Jarvis house~hold. This story is about a little elf who came one day, his legendary name is Bob. And this is the story of how Bob came to be.

Ding Dong, nobody heard then again a slight Ding Dong. Then the third. "Did you guys hear that?" Questioned my brother. "What?" said my mom. Then again, Ding Dong. My mom walked to the door. Drew ran slippin' and slidin' on the smooth wooden floor. My mom hand the door opened the door without caution.   Silence    and then "Aighhhhhhhhhhhhh" came a scream so wierd it had to be one person my brother. I rushed over to get a look at what was at the door. And then  saw it. A red pointy hat with a jumpsuit made out of red cloth. The painted smile reaching ear to ear. The eyes looking right at you. Can you guess? Yup. An Elf. Not just any Elf. The elf that came on the shelf in a package at our door step. The beginning of Bob. The elf on the Jarvis's shelf. We took the box in. I really wanted an elf on the shelf this year, I was excited but freaked out. Excited! But freaked. we opened the box and untied his legs and hands.

There was a hardcover book in the little package. We read it out loud for everyone to hear. It said we need to give it a name and that we can't touch it. And each night it reports to Santa. So we took a vote on two names. Foogie (I wanted the name but nobody else did). And Bob. Bob won, and Foogie failed. then my dad put him on the shelf above the fire place, but that was just the beginning.

Wonder

In Wonder by R.J Palacio August Pullman a boy with a wonderous face, changes through out the book. In the beginning Auggie is a boy who everyone dislikes because of his outside appearance. Auggie does not see any good in his face, he knows what people say behind his back and it doesn't make him feel any better. Auggie is a home~schooled boy who doesn't think anybody could possibly be friends with a "freak" until one day. Auggie is supposed to be going in the 5th grade, his mom takes him for a tour of a school to see if this year he'll go to school. While Auggie takes a tour of the school he notices that some people can be rude even though they don't realize it. For example " So, whats up with your face, were you in a fire or something? " said Julian " Julian thats so rude! " said Charlotte. So like in that situation Julian is being rude but doesn't realize it until someone points out it's offensive.

I think Auggie changes in this book mostly through maturity, and realizing new things about his face that he didn't realize in the beginning of  the book. One example is when he met Summer. He thought that like all the other kids, She was asked to be friends with him because Mr.Tushman asked him to. I think Auggie didn't realize that Summer was trying to be his friend because, he found out that Mr. Tushman asked a bunch of people but they were being real jerks instead of friends. But this girl was trying to be Kinder Than Necessary. I think if people would just get to know Auggie a little better the whole school could be friends with him!

In wonder from the first page to the last one major change in Auggie, his perspective. On the last page when Auggie is walking with friends which he didn't have in the beginning or when a bunch of people came to take a picture with them. Auggie didn't have that in the beginning. I think that Auggie knows now from his 5th grade experience, everyone in the world can be mean and stick with " Cool Kids ", but those who decide who they'ed actually have a good time with, make good decisions. Like for example, the part when Miranda changed, and hung out with her good friends instead of popular ones, she realized that in a long time she hasn't felt really. And sometimes hanging out with the old is better than the new.

One thing in Wonder that I learned is. Never. Ever. Ever. Judge a person by their appearance, no matter what they look like. It's always okay to be randomly nice if you see someone suffering, just being there to help them. Giving them an extra hand. And Don't Judge a person by their face.

Mrs. Roberts

One the first day of school I was kind of nervous to meet my new 5th grade teachers. When I walked in the classroom I saw Mrs.Roberts she seemed nice maybe strict I thought. I saw Mr.Joesph he had his wooden bow tie on. I was starting to get used to the teachers in the first couple weeks I thought Mrs.Roberts was really funny. So wasMr.Joesph with his voices. I liked that about him. But, I still didn't know who my teachers really were. Now that was way back in September. Now my thoughts are totally transformed, about my two favorite teachers.

Now In December I have definitely cracked the case about who Mrs.Roberts was. Definitely. Sometimes I think of her as my favorite twin. Like for example. In the classroom the other way back day during Science we were watching a video on skateboarders. " I kind of want to see them fall. Does that make me a bad person? "  in her British accent. Your not the only one. I thought. You see I always have these moments when the devil has possessed us both but then out of the blue this funny devil comes along and starts plying to. I think that is the best combination EVER. One thing I absolutely love about Mrs.Roberts (besides the bristish accent) is that she's always evil but funny. Really EVIL but funny. Thats one of the main things I just can't get over with about Mrs.Roberts. Now Yesterday during Roberts planners after everyone left, Zoeya was cleaning up but her team left her so, " Yeah we should do somethin' about it " said Mrs.Roberts (BRITISH ACCENT <3) " Maybe we could have a punishment " hehehehe.  " Yes! " (raising eyebrow ) she said. " Put them in the choke e! " I said. " Hahahah  (both of us dramatic evil laugh) hahaha! "

And you see that is Mrs. Roberts gift is so funny and rare. That is why she is the Joberts teacher, because she is so funnily EVIL!!!!! That is why we must show Mrs.Roberts in the utmost respect. To praise the English Gods! For sending her down here to teach us but at the same time be the best teacher english teacher ANYONE AND I MEAN ANYONE, could have.

Christmas

I love Christmas, but what about Thanksgiving? I mean stores like completely forget about Thanksgiving they just say something like this " Tis' the season to be jolly fa la la la la la la la. Save 50% on all store items, and don't forget about the kids! Save hundreds on all Christmas gifts! " I mean seriously how do you think the turkey feels when he goes black friday shopping? I think it's also getting on my nerves now.  It's been going on year after year, and what is everybody doing?  Shopping like a happy elves! I mean thanksgiving is about being thankful for things you have. And all the turkey gets is his month taken away!

I mean don't get me wrong I love Christmas but I like Thanksgiving too! I think store people should ask how the turkey feels now that every year the turkeys holiday isn't sponsored by stores. I think would say, " Oh I don't even gobblin' care anymore really. I just sit eating Christmas cookies. " Now that would be sad. Just sad. I think that who ever is managing stores should have a pep talk to turkeys and their right for a holiday like come on stores, thrown in a turkey sweater or something like that! Now Christmas I love. Presents. Cookies. And of course more cookies. But you know I was just talking to Jerry a turkey friend of mine, and this was our conversation. " Yo Jerry my man! " " Hey Soph. " " Why so glum? " " Oh you know. The stores (sniff sniff gobble gobble gobble) They forget ll about us Turkeys. " " Oh poor Jerry. "

And on and on. It was so sad i starting crying to then I knew what had to be done. I had to write this story to show stores it's ok to celebrate Christmas just give one month to the turkeys! Ok this what I mean decorate the stores with christmas and then have thanksgiving barf on it! That is the most simple logic ever NOW WHO'S WITH ME! Thank you for reading and remember next thanksgiving bring a giant turkey. And use the command Barf! and fwala! Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Parade

"Whoo" "Whoo" people shouts rang in my eardrums, Me and my family were at the thanksgiving parade watching a collage band go by dressed in red uniforms. I stood up and looked past the commotion I think I saw a Kermit the frog float. I said to my dad excitingly " Hey there's a Kermit the frog float coming!" "Jeremy?" my dad said through the ear~shattering crowd, "No!, KERMIT!" I shouted back. "What?" he yelled. Oh forget I thought waving my hand. As Kermit came there were people dressed up like Kermit, with green face paint smiling (some not). They were wearing little green hats, so they kind of reminded me as elves but tall ones.

"VANILLA ICE!" a man screamed is lunges out as Vanilla Ice passed us on a float of ice cream he waved his hand as the music was playing LOUD in the background noise. My mom got excited and I did to, this was a good start to see Vanilla Ice on thanksgiving day. You know they should have passed out ice cream with hot fudge now, wouldn't that be something. Clowns were walking in front of a "freaky" clown float. "Clowns are kinda freaky. No?" "Not really" I replied to my mom. The clowns were all cherry shaking peoples hand in the front of the bars, throwing and passing out beads, saying happy thanksgiving! Then we watched more clowns go by "freakily" smiling at everyone, I would be cold and miserable in a costume that thin on thanksgiving day I thought, as they passed by.

On the big big screen T.V I saw a video of grover the superhero heading on it's way through the sesame street fans. When grover got to us it leaned way in. Ok so you know how they have people at the bottom of the giant balloon, and the people hold strings to control grover? The people leaned his hand way in and as soon as they did that, Everybody literally laughed and started shouting and whooping. after that a couple more collage  bands went by an we ran to our car. A few more hours later we were at my gido and tata's house (grandpa and grandma's), we turned on the T.V and the parade was on T.V, the ending. And what I saw made me furious. I saw santa. And elves. Its thanksgiving people how do think the turkey feels which what i really wanted to shout out at that very moment

Cheese and Cake

Every year as a tradition my mom bakes pumpkin cheese cake. I was helping my mom bake the cheese and cake con-cuaction, "Four things of cream cheese Soph" mom said. As I unwrapped the cheese cream I was thinking holy gorgonzola cheese, now that is a LOT of cheese. I mean I like cheese cream on my bagel but like thats a LOT of cheese. After that we threw in this and that and then mix and put a pinch of this in a bowl mix it with that, then the most horrid part TASTING.

Personally I wasn't a fan but I always helped. Usually, everybody in my family if my mom's baking something they taste it before it goes in the oven. While we were baking the cheese cake my mom asked everybody to taste it. This is what normally happens. Ava (sister) and Andrews (brother) reaction would be something along the lines of this, "Oooo, me me me me" and they would probably try to shove their way over racing each other. But with cheese cake it's a whole different story.

"Come on guys, come and taste it." my mom said mybrother and sister would walk over but before she would have me total LOVER of cheese cake taste it. "FINE one taste." I said cautiously  say, carefully dipping the tip of my pointer finger in the cun-cauction of cheese and cake. "Eh" I said as the stuff touched my taste buds "I'd prefer it baked" "Fine fair enough" my mom said. But usually everyone loves my mom's cheese cake, so I guess I'm kinda a picky eater.

Thanksgiving Poem

                                                               Things I am thankful for

I am thankful for my drawing talent it soothes me into a vibe

I am thankful for my cello I can play music for my family

I am thankful for books with them I can understand people and real live situations

Places I am thankful for

I am thankful for my house where I can eat sleep and be safe during the night
I am thankful for hot and sunny Florida where you can forget about your worries and relax
I am thankful for Michigan where the Great Lakes sparkle

People I am thankful for

I am thankful for my siblings even though their trouble
I am thankful for my cute dog Ceci she comforts me when I'm sad
I am thankful for both my grandparents I love spending time with them
I am thankful for my parents they help me learn from my mistakes

I wrote this poem to show all that I am thankful for. I also wrote this poem to show I am thankful for all that my mom has done for me, taught me, and helped me learn. I am grateful for every thing in this poem and more, because a lot of people today don't have the stuff I have everyday. Some people don't have shelter every night. Some people don't have a full meal everyday. So I wrote this poem to show how thankful I am to everyone and everything.

Arizona

                                                                             House

It was as hot as pungent spices and cheerily brisk, when we arrived in dry Arizona. The sun felt like glaring staring into my back turning my pale Michigan skin tan. The first house we rented was big but not gigantic. In the back yard you had a black table, under the shade of the house, with little designed crevasses, also in one corner there was a swaying grapefruit tree, in the other corner there was an octangular pool and a garden that was pretty much it. Whenever my gido came to visit we would pluck grapefruit from the tree pour some sugar on it and suck or eat it. It was the best treat ever! And yes better than candy. Then we would sit under the shade and relax under the cool cherry wind.
                                                                            School
At school the one thing I remember doing is eating lunch outside under a white tent. They did it in Arizona because one you can and it always sunny and two it's warm unlike Michigan. Another thing at school is we would go on a hill in our playground as a class, take a gigantic sheet with the colored triangles on it, like green blue and red, run in a circle with somebody at every corner, lift it high and quickly, sit on it. And it would act like a blown up tent. And kids would run around inside with the teachers sitting down on it. I don't remember my friends I do remember picture day though. When my dad dropped me off in my class, There was a blond haired girl with a puzzle. I went over and sat down with her, and I tried to fit a couple pieces and she said, "My dad said to keep turning the pieces and you can fit them in right."

It was my first Halloween their and I was snow white I think I was 4. "Ding Dong" the door bell rang through my eardrums. I looked at the glass that was to the side of the door. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I shrieked there I was frightened of a buh costume and a ghost costume with a hood over and streaming blood going down it's rib. Of course I screamed because I didn't know what to expect at the door, especially what I just described to you. My mom and I were in my dad's Volvo driving, On the radio my mom was playing " Just a spoon-full of sugar helps the medicine go down, the medicine go down, the medicine go dooown" and so on. Just then  we drove by a car incident. "Ooo" my mom said in a deep tone. You could see a police car there inspecting it, in car you could see little tiny flames. The police officer was bald wearing black shaded sunglasses look through the passenger window.

I remember when I was little my dad would garden and run with me and my brother. Afterwards he would spit on the gravel because his face was hot and sweaty and then me and my brother would do try to spit like him and it would make him laugh. I used to have a fisher price camera  I could take pictures with and I still have it today, and when I look through it I can see pictures of my mom and Gido and Tata sitting on the sofa or in the kitchen or through the window.

You might realize Arizona is home to the scorpion. Scorpions in case you didn't know have tails that curl, and at the end of their tail is a black prick. A Scorpions tail has venom in it, so if you get stung you might have to go to the hospital to get poison control. So every night my dad had to check for scorpions. If there were any scorpions my dad would cut it with a shovel and shovel it out. When I was little I didn't worry about stuff like getting stung or going to the hospital, I think if I was a little older I guess I would worry a LOT more. And by the way my advise to you if you live in Arizona the smaller the scorpion the more deadly it is.

One day a lady came to our school wearing a cowboy hat and a white tank-top, with blue jeans. It was like a field trip coming to you instead of the other way around. She brought horses and donkeys and geese. During the field trip she gave every body a cowboy hat. Mine which I still have today, is red rimmed with a red star in the middle, That's all I remember about school.

                                                               Other Memories

I was about three when I moved to Arizona I was turning six when we flew back to Michigan. So about 3 years of my life I lived there. My sister was born in Arizona December 17th, 2008. She has blondish brownish hair, but it's not dirty blonde, and me and my brother have dark thick brown hair. And I realize from these memories I have you should try to cherish the memories you have, because life can go by within a snap.

Shocker!

Me and my brother love outdoor sports and hunting. You would say oh that's great you would THINK that we wouldn't have any allergies right? WRONG. Actually about a week ago my brother had a check up and his doctor said that he was allergic to something " It may be something inside of the house" he said. We were hoping that it wasn't Ceci (our dog). Thankfully it wasn't the doctor ran testes and found out that my brother was allergic to weeds grass and mostly any tree which was very very bad. I felt so bad when I got home becuase my brothers back had four small sized bumps and a lot of red tiny ones that were labeled with a number. I was really disgusted I asked my mom how he got the bumps and she told me that the doctor put little samples like little little into a shot and injected it into my brother after about 20 minutes or so my brother stared to hop around the room trying to itch and it was was so bad the picture she showed was about 20x WORSE.  There were 4 medium sized bumps that were swelling and almost chickenpox sized bumps with a number written next to it the doctor was trying to count the bumps over 40 bumps just from a little sample! I felt so bad there's no words to describe what I felt for my brother. But at least he can still go out side he just has to take a shot every week than every month than year and he will be done taking shots. I am glad my brother can thankfully enjoy the outdoors.

At the end

It was my friends birthday and she was having a sleepover for her birthday ( Mrs.Cooks daughter ). I had just arrived at Ellie's house, I already had the feeling that something was going to happen that was very bad. I went in the basement and there was like almost a whole buffet! there were cheese puffs and Cheetos, and lays chips and pretzels and any snack food you could imagine there was also dip. The basement was decorated with pink streamers, Ellie was so excited I was to, Ellie's parties are always the best out all the fourth grade girls. When the other guest's arrived we started to eat ( we had to have three refills of dip blag ! ) then we went outside and had an easter egg hunt it was crazy one fell in the trash can, because the eggs are filled with candy, My friend had climbed in the trash can and fell in, and discovered leftover meatloaf. ( which is rather disturbing ) But in the end she got the candy so she was kinda happy. After that we went into the basement and rocked out the vibes "YEAH MAHLAH" I shouted she rock'n it out! the pizza arrived and we chomped the whole thing literally. The cake was zebra themed with fondant mmmmmm! It was scrumdedillisious! Okay now its the exciting part. Because Ellie's dad own a RV place she got to rent one and we slept in it. i'must saying it was the freakiest sleep of my life! All of us got settled in and we all went straight to the electronics, I kept playing life, and then we played apples to apples and drink sierra mist. Then Ella just started to spitting out blood and we were all freaking out and rushed her to the sink there was  probably about just barely a GALLON OF BLOOD and there's no way no how I am exaggerating I felt so bad. But it turns out she just had a loose tooth. then we all drifted off to sleep in our princess unicorn mermaid dream. THATS JUST WHAT THEY WANT TO THINK AT GIRLS SLEEPOVER IN AN RV AT EXACTLY 1:47 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both Sides

Me and my mom couldn't wait, we were in her car driving from 5/6 camp. "Oh just think when we get home Soph there will be fresh food hot water CLEAN showers and oh I just can't wait." "Yeah" I said. Camp was really fun in all but I just couldn't wait until I sleep in my own BED! Just then my mom's phone rang, it was my dad I couldn't wait to see him! Little did I now today would be a risky scary day. All of a sudden my mom gasped. Usually she would say  something like this if something exciting happened. " Now way shut the front door!" but this time she just gasped. When I asked her what was wrong she wouldn't answer me. So I figured it was adult stuff. But about 15 minutes later she said. " Gido's in the hospital." ( Gido means grandpa in Egyptian) The last time my Gido was in the hospital was because he had a heart attack the doctors had just saved him. I don't know what he was there for this time. I was kinda scared. So I just said nothing it was completely silent the rest of the way. When we got to Beaumont hospital we ran to the entrance and up the stairs until finally we got to the room. There was a curtain pulled over the room we walked in. My Gido was in there with a thing attached to his finger and multiple cords to his body and a computer above his bed. His eyes were closed and my dad was already there. I came up to him and he picked me up, I started to cry because I love my Gido and I don't get to see him a lot and, I don't want my last memory of him dying in a hospital. My mom was crying to, Just then I heard a weak voice. " Sophie come here " my Gido said give me a hug." He tried to get up and then on the computer screen it said WARNING WEAK IN LOWER BODY. I ushered him back down and hugged him. He looked so tired. "How are you feeling?" I asked almost in a whisper. "Not good    Sophie." and then he closed his eyes. I went to the corner with my mom and asked her, " So whats gonna happen to Gido? " and she said " Well he's gonna stay here and take some medicine and get better hopefully." So if you pray to god if someone you love is suffering and you just hope something will get better.  And it will because of the nurses at Beaumont my Gido is still alive and well and I'm grateful for that.

My first time in NYC

We were were in New Jersey visiting my cousins. All of us got in a car and drove about 30 to 45 minutes across town. When we got out of the car we took a Subway it was kinda cool, being my first time. It felt like me and my cousins were secret agents undercover (sorta). it took about 15 minutes or so until we got off the Subway then we were in… NEW YORK!!! To be honest it looked kinda trashy, when we got there. But then we got to the BIG CITY! It was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! There right in front of us was this IGNORAMUS, Toys R U's, we all walked in with great pride and our heads held high. Literally right when we walked in there was this giant faris wheel like the ones at carnival giant. There were lights and toys all shapes and sizes and colors and they move and talk, and walk, and fly. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my 8 years ( I was 8 at the time) of living, I almost cried. So anyway just when were about to go upstairs ( there's like 5 floors of TOYS) when somebody shouted, " COME AND GET YOUR ONE AND ONLY NEW AND IMPROVED….. beanbag!" come on seriously a beanbag. It didn't sound like the most interesting Toy out 5 floors in the giant light showing flying toy store but we walked over anyway. So there was this man and he had this little beanbag. And like someone put a shock collar on him BOOM, he started doing all these crazy tricks with it. He threw it under his leg and caught it jumped up did a flip and caught while doing the flip it was pretty cool what you can do, with such a small and useless item. When all of us bought one, another volunteer came in and taught how catch and throw and do some of the tricks. At the end of the day, we took a taxi home and it was tiring but it was fun.

Picard

                                  Ceci

It was Saturday afternoon. My dad was moving furniture from our garage. It was a casual afternoon nothing exciting, YET. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" My mom screamed. We all rushed upstairs, only to find a dog. My mom was afraid of dogs at the time. My dad took him down stairs and took him out side, the dog seemed to be trained. Literally the first thing I asked was "Can we keep him" "Pleeeeeeeease!" I asked. " I don't know, I think he belongs to someone." My dad answered doubtfully. I guessed by the tone of his voice he really wanted to keep him as much as I did. My dad had aaa dog growing up he loved dogs. The first thing my dad suggested to find the owner, was to take him to the vet. I really didn't want to but it was the right thing to do. Surprisingly we found the owner there before us. It turns out the dogs name was Picard. Picard lived on Maple St. hopped the fence and walked all the way to Webster St. The guy adopted dogs at his house. Once he trained them he would sell them. Me and my brother begged and begged, to have Picard. My dad said he would have to talk with my mom. Turns out about a year later they went Chicago and brought back our dog now, Ceci.
